2005 Koffler Award Winner
2005 SDTA Scholarship
The South Dakota State University Wildlife and Fisheries Conservation Club will kick off their 57th annual buffalo banquet on November 4, 2005, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Swiftel Center in Brookings, SD. The SDTA will present its 16th scholarship ($250.00) to a sophomore student majoring in wildlife and fisheries science. Kim Potter, SDTA President and his wife, Teresa, will receive two complimentary tickets from the SDSU Wildlife Club to attend the banquet. Kim will represent the SDTA and make the scholarship presentation. Marie loves and proudly wears her new River Otter fur coat that she received from the South Dakota Trappers Association, Inc. and the Western South Dakota Fur Harvestors Association.
Marie looks forward to the next few months as she prepares for the Miss Rodeo America pageant.
